SERVER RULES

Protect the world and the community.

These standards apply across the Minecraft server, Discord and official MuffinSMP services.

Respect & Conduct

  1. 1.1 Treat players and staff with basic respect.
  2. 1.2 Hate speech, targeted harassment, threats and discriminatory abuse are prohibited.
  3. 1.3 Do not encourage self-harm, dox players or expose private information.
  4. 1.4 Impersonating staff or official MuffinSMP services is prohibited.

Fair Play

  1. 2.1 Hacked clients, unfair modifications, macros and automation that create an advantage are prohibited.
  2. 2.2 Exploits, duplication methods and unintended mechanics must be reported, not abused.
  3. 2.3 Ban evasion and using alternate accounts to bypass restrictions are prohibited.
  4. 2.4 Staff may request reasonable evidence during an investigation.

Chat & Communication

  1. 3.1 Do not spam, flood, excessively capitalise or disrupt public chat.
  2. 3.2 Advertising unrelated servers, services or communities is prohibited.
  3. 3.3 Keep inappropriate or explicit material away from all public channels.
  4. 3.4 Use support systems responsibly and do not waste staff time.

Gameplay

  1. 4.1 Griefing, trapping or repeatedly targeting players outside permitted mechanics is prohibited.
  2. 4.2 Do not intentionally create severe lag or construct machines designed to damage performance.
  3. 4.3 Event-specific instructions must be followed while participating.
  4. 4.4 Do not obstruct shared areas, spawn routes or public facilities.

Economy & Trading

  1. 5.1 Scamming through misleading trades, fake listings or false promises is prohibited.
  2. 5.2 Real-money trading involving in-game currency, items or accounts is prohibited unless officially authorised.
  3. 5.3 Market manipulation using exploits, alternate accounts or coordinated abuse is prohibited.
  4. 5.4 Staff may reverse transactions connected to rule violations.

Claims & Builds

  1. 6.1 Claims must not be used to intentionally block reasonable expansion or access.
  2. 6.2 Builds containing hateful, explicit or disruptive content will be removed.
  3. 6.3 Owners are responsible for players they trust inside their claim.
  4. 6.4 Inactive or abandoned claims may be reviewed under published reset policies.

Account Security

  1. 7.1 You are responsible for activity performed through your account.
  2. 7.2 Never share passwords, authentication codes or sensitive account details.
  3. 7.3 Report compromised accounts through official support channels immediately.
  4. 7.4 Do not attempt to access another player's account or private data.

Enforcement

  1. 8.1 Staff may act on behaviour that clearly harms the server even when a specific example is not listed.
  2. 8.2 Punishments consider severity, intent, evidence and previous history.
  3. 8.3 Appeals must use the official process and remain respectful.
  4. 8.4 False reports and fabricated evidence may result in action.
